Unfiltered Radar Test

This test consists of familiarizing ourselves with the InnoSent radar module. In this experiement we connect the Device to an Analogue Doscovery Scope with a running fast fourier transformation (FFT) to see if the module is capable of detecting a moving car at certain speeds. We confirm that we were able to calculate the expected frequency of the car from a running transformation program.

Range and Beamwidth Confirmation

This test consists of confirming the actual beamwidth of the radar to confirm a direct waveform direction so the user does not get confused with a multiply moving cars. We confirm that the angle in which the module loses the signal reflecting from the moving car around 50 degrees and that the range of this device to be about 120 yards.

Single Supply Low-Pass Filter

This test consists of creating a series of Low-Pass filters using operational amplifiers. The desired cut-off frequency was 3.6kHz due to the range of frequency we plan to be operating in.
